Summer Harvest Keeps Getting Better

Another friend shared her harvest with me today. Beautiful tomatoes with Salsa in mind. Dear Hubs makes the best!  Between the peppers from Sue and the tomatoes from Marilyn, we're just about set.
Cherry tomatoes are hiding the BIG Ones.
These tomatoes are multiplying!

I got the pepper tree mostly for decoration...
Perfect in a fall display.

Best Trifle Bowl Ever

I have never owned a Trifle Bowl before but now I know my food truly
tastes better when there's a beautiful presentation.  Don't you think so?
This time it's a summer fruit salad.  Simply tossed together my favorite
fruits and placed it in the Trifle Bowl
Enjoy the fruits of the season and seriously...
if you don't have a trifle bowl...you need to get one!

I just mixed and dumped, but you could layer
each type of fruit for a different look.
This Trifle Bowl is perfection. The bowl separates from
the base for easy storage.  Plus the rubber lid is convienent for putting the
bowl into the fridge till you are ready to serve or for leftovers.

Product Labels

Busy basket happenings at my house getting
ready for WE Hot August Nights.
I had fun trying something new to label my products. Printed clear labels
on Avery 5160 and added them to the "Hello my name is" Labels.
I'll hole punch and add to anything with a weave or a handle.
Run a ribbon or twine through and tape to pottery.
More pictures when I get the display done.

Pinstamtic. How fun is this?!

I'm trying out this new (new to me anyway) tool to make your own pinterest pins.  I just wrote a "sticky" note to my Weaving Friendships Board.  It works!  Will be fun to explore it and see what else I can do with it. Try it. You'll like it!

Make your own images to share on social media sites using this easy Pinterest pin tool. Click the format on top and enter your info/upload a picture. Instead of pinning just right-click to Save Image As... then share it wherever you like. Several templates to choose from for quotes, stickee notes like this, and even add captions to photos. Free and easy. www.pinstamatic.com

Beer Bread

Discussion on facebook and I'm in the kitchen making Beer Bread.  The cool thing about Beer Bread is you can use any liquid.  So be creative.  Apple Cider, Club Soda, Diet Pop, Orange Juice.  You get the idea.  Just use the same amount of liquid and see what you come up with.  You can even add raisins, cranberries, apple bits, etc.
While I usually make it in a Loaf Pan, last night I made the Beer Bread in the New Longaberger Flameware Braiser.  A little less cooking time and it got a little more crusty on the sides.  I liked that.

Flameware worked perfect.  Simple to make and easy clean up.
Popped it out of the pan and cut it in pie shape. Perfection.
